I purchased this item and was very disapointed with it. The slides all appeared to have too much contrast and were no where near the quality of the original slides. I have returned it to the suppliers for a refund.

Sounds too good to be true, but..
I bought this to transfer old family slides onto disk. All I can say is it doesn't do it very well. Takes time to get slides in and then manually push them through the scanner. Picture quality is poor, no shadings. I hear it is much better if you are scanning film negatives. I hope so.

This is the first copier I have used to convert 35mm negatives and slides to a digital format. I am disappointed with the result, loss of highlight and shadow detail in slides and poor colour balance in the negatives. I cannot compare it with any other device but there must be something better on the market.
