Scouting for crap and we've found it ALBUM OF THE YEAR: For Crapness
For anyone who's contemplating suicide but is having second thoughts. With lyrics to rival that of Bob Dylans why anyone wouldn't like this I'l never no, she's so lovely please stop I'm about to be sick.

Scouting For Jobs More Like
I would have given this no stars at all, but Amazon forces you to give at least one star. Quite honestly, this is the biggest pile of bull I've heard in a long time. Yes, like me you have noticed that all their songs sound EXACTLY the same. And the lyrics! One chorus just goes "She's so lovely". Oh my God! You've got to say that is just pure genius. If they keep up that sort of brilliant lyrics then we've got someone to rival Bob Dylan!!! If the lyrics aren't enough to blast your brains out then the absolute dullard idiot who sings will. The repetitive sound they can only play makes Status Quo look like The Beatles.

If this is the best British music can come up with at the moment along with other crap bands like the Kaiser Chiefs, then I really do fear for the British music industry. Still, at least we've got Coldplay, and it won't be long before we start hearing new material from Oasis, The Verve, etc.

Don't fret, because it won't be long before this band fail spectacularly with their next album and we will be seeing them walk into job centres next year - but judging by this rubbish, they won't get any job because I struggle to see where the talent will come from.

fun and frolics to take away the stress of the real world
I have heard so many people bad mouthing Scouting for girls for the relevant trivia of their lyrics. Ok its not modern day poetry or a tortured tale but it is a great album in its own right. There is a cheeky naivety in the lyrics that many seem to have missed. It is catchy, bouncy, fun and if, like me, you have a stressful job then music that can cheer you up and take you away from it all is exactly what you need.
The album has grown even more in my favour since seeing them live (an unbelievable live act, especially for such a young band) and I will be seeing them again later in the year.

To summerise:
Great pop record come rain or shine.

Rubbish!
This is the worst band I have ever heard. They should all get a proper job!

Still tapping my feet ... this is fun!
Yes, not serious stuff - but why not! This is a great album from a highly accomplished band. Three tracks (at least) will be with us for a long time - She's So Lovely, Elvis Ain't Dead and James Bond. Sure, repetitive but great fun.
