A vacuum that REALLY works!
Wow - this cleaner is incredible! After suffering with several cheap vacuums, we decided to get a premium product. I was ready to get a Dyson Animal, but after checking some of the reviews, looked at the Miele.

We have a border terrier, that seems to moult continuously, and have a mixture of laminate, slate tiles and carpet in the house. We're also quite lazy so don't vacuum often. The cleaner is quiet, powerful and moves round as if it were floating! The extra power brush that comes with the Cat & Dog cleaner is truly unbelievable.

I'm not the sort of person to get excited about a vacuum cleaner, but this is the best!! If you're thinking £200 is a lot for a vacuum; it is, but if you want an immaculate job done quickly - go for it!

A Husband's view....
Bought one today after reading reviews on the web and Which? mag. Have used Dysons and upright Hoovers for years and none of them come remotely close to the suction and performance of the Miele. My wife has insisted that the only way to properly clean the carpets is to use the small tools and get on our hands and knees and "scrub" the carpet.
Who am I to argue (though I have tried many times), but to be honest, it is the only way to clean cat hairs and bits of sock fluff up, but I hate hoovering so much that anything to make it easier would be most welcome; and this thing is a revelation, no longer do I have to shuffle around the house, just whack the turbo brush on and switch the power to 11 and wahey its all done in fraction of the time and effort. Which means more time to watch TV and drink beer which is just fine.

Incredible...
...and I mean that.

I worked in hotels for 16 years and I have used literally dozens of vacuum cleaners. None, not even one, comes close to the Miele Cat & Dog.

We had a very well known bag-free cleaner for several years and I hated it from day 1. It never felt solid, it was clumsy and although it would pick up surface dirt it would never even attampt to pick up pet hairs or anything heavier than a crumb.

I did loads and loads of research and kept coming back to the Miele. Eventually we took the plunge and bought it, sadly for £30 more than it is here but you live and learn.

I got it home and very happily spent 2 hours vacuuming everything that the other thing didn't pick up. I have never seen our 4 year old carpets look so good, almost like new. The bag was full after 30 minutes, that shows how much it picked up the day AFTER I have vacuumed with the other one. It was mainly pet hairs..... which just goes to show it does exactly what it says on the tin.

The turbo brush is fabulous, the mini turbo is great for the stairs and FINALLY I have a crevice tool thats long enough to actually fit into crevices. HUZZAH!

I really can't sing it's praises enough. It's not cheap but in this instance you most definitely get what you pay for.

Best Pet Vac ever!
Having given up on our useless Dyson to pick up the basics let alone the fur from my Persian cat I looked on which magazine, spoke to other pet owners and googled to find other peoples opinions and without question everybody praised this vac to the hilt, having now bought one myself I agree with them. I was unsure about getting a cylinder vac having only ever owned an upright, but I find it easier to use than an upright, the way the head pivots & fits into & under small spaces means areas I previously ignored are now easily cleaned, it also does hard floors and you can get further very useful attachments which make it even more versatile. The only problem I have encountered is on thin/lightweight rugs which on a high power gets sucked up by the van & ends up in a pile & when you lower the power so this doesn't happen it doesn't pick up all the bits & fur.

Wunderbar!
I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is sheds like mad. I also had an upright vacuum cleaner the Animal model, (the type that never looses its suction), which was supposed to clean up dog hair - it did but only with a lot of very hard work. AND I paid extra for the Turbo Brush.
Then a friend told me about the Miele Cat & Dog - it is fantastic, Not a dog hair in sight any more. THREE brushes for all surfaces at no extra cost.
If you have an animal that sheds - this is the machine to buy.
