Avoid. Total rubbish. Crashes all the time.I bought this primarilly to copy my large collection of music across several DVDs (something it claims to do). However it crashes when I import lots of files.
No updates, seemingly total lack of any reponse from support. I would avoid this software like the plague.

Avoid this productI tried this program in Vista Premium and Windows XP sp3; Nothing but problems. In Vista practically all of the containing programs didn't run. And in xp it lead to frequent blue screens of death. In both operating systems there was an improvement when Easy Media Creator 10 was removed. My systems are quite high end with 3gigs of ram and 2gz Athlon 3200+ 64s. Go for Nero if you want result.

Video editing - forget it!!The Roxio Easy Media packages always appear to be packed with lots of programs promising much for your money. Indeed they do but some of the promises tend to be empty in my experience.
Most of the features work apart from video editing - I have versions 7, 9 and 10 (the latter was bundled free with a new PC) and can't get any of them to actually produce a video. I can go through the process of assembling scenes (on a good day) but then it will freeze, shut down, inform me `there is no common data between these pins' or advise me that 'DIVX software is not installed on the computer' (it is - and Roxio was pre-installed on the same PC when purchased). Whatever the error message, the result is always the same - hours of work is wasted.
So, if you're looking for basic photo editing, sound editing, CD/DVD copying and the other functions then it's a reasonable package but if you want it to edit video footage or produce your own videos then I would urge anyone to look elsewhere for a more reliable product because this fails spectacularly every time for me. Ulead Video Studio is an easy to use and reliable package or try the Sony Vegas software. This isn't quite as simple but is much more flexible if you're familiar with the editing process.

Caveat EmptorThis software is incapable of importing files correctly created in Canon camcorders which work OK with Premiere Elements. It imports 16-9 aspect ratio files as 4-3. The best the help desk can do is suggest using a shareware programme to rset the 16-9 flag. It made no difference. Just have a look in the help FAQ and look at the phaff involve in getting a clean install!!!!! I am a retired IT professional and rate this software and Roxio help as totally incapable. I wish I had read the reviews before buying. The software has been un-installed and sent back for a refund as unfit for purpose. If I had been using a micky mouse camera there may be an excuse but to say that files ceated by a market leader are the problem is rubish. Given one star because you have to give something I would ive minus one if I could.

Far too many quirks and problemsOne needs to expect to spend time learning the interface for new software, but Roxio 10 is just too non-intuitive, crashes too often and does too many illogical things to be worth buying.
Creating a slideshow is fine, except that when you drag a slide to a new position it leaves a blank slide in the old one: duh!
Creating a DVD menu is fine, except if you don't know you've got to set the format (3:2 vs 16:9) right at the start, you lose all your customized changes.
Burning a DVD loses lip-sync on a video (I've found this can be corrected by moving the audio track of a finished movie 6 frames behind the video).
I could go on enumerating the crashes and glitches, but let's just say if you can afford to spend a fortune in cash and time going through blank DVDs to sort out all the little problems, this software is fine. If you want something that just works, forget Roxio.
