My wife and I were fortunate enough to see Michael in a St. Louis br /concert, met him back stage, told us he had just recorded this album br /back in November of 2003 and was very proud of the result. br /Might add this young man made a very positive impression on all who br /attended that night's show --- he's a first class guy and has everything br /going for him --- couldn't happen to a nicer person. br / br /Pop vocalist of the millennium is Michael Buble, with shades of br /Connick, Darin, Sinatra and Torme, all rolled into one nice neat br /package (and that's the plain truth). Just in time for the holidays br /Buble has re-released "Let It Snow!", featuring an unforgettable youthful br /style that takes you back to Christmas' of long, long ago --- Listening to br /this five track compact disc, brings back memories of Bing Crosby in br /"Holiday Inn", where Bing first sang the Irving Berlin classic song of br /these special times "WHITE CHRISTMAS". br / br /Then we have "THE CHRISTMAS SONG (CHESTNUTS ROASTING br /ON AN OPEN FIRE)", composed by Mel Torme/Robert Wells and debuted br /by Nat "King" Cole (one of the greatest entertainers of all time), but Michael br /nails this classic tune with his own signature and makes it his very own. br / br /"LET IT SNOW!", wonderful arrangement by Johnny Mandel, as Buble br /sings the white stuff is coming down in big flakes. br /"GROWN-UP CHRISTMAS LIST", beautiful almost music box tune written br /by David Foster (producer of this album), the verse brings a tear to your eye as br /Michael pours his heart out, this track alone is worth the price of the album. br / br /But my all time favorite popular Christmas song is "I'LL BE HOME FOR br /CHRISTMAS", this chokes my wife up, cause when I served in the Navy br /couldn't be with her that one Christmas, every time she hears this song br /it all comes back, Buble takes the David Foster and Jeremy Lubbock br /arrangement along with heartfelt lyrics and brings it home, just listen br /quietly and see if you don't agree --- Let It Snow offers holiday greetings br /for the yuletide days --- The EP was reissued in 2007 with a br /bonus live version of the title track. br / br /SPECIAL FEATURES: [BONUS TRACK] EP br /1 Let It Snow.
