TOSH - and we ain't talking Peter!!
The previous two reviewers hit the nail on the head.....only for the money!
This album was cut without a certain Mr Petrucci due to his emergency exit to be by his wife's side during the birth of their child - the rest of the band were left with the studio time paid for and thought they'd make a fist of it and record whatever happened - and, NOTHING happened - and here is the proof, if proof were needed!
It beggars belief in this day and age that a group of musicians hallowed for their previous prowess on their chosen instruments, can come up with so very little, and that the record company can actually put this out too!
From the outset, it's obvious that there is little here for anybody interested in music, but plenty for the entertainment of those into the sounds of flattulent studio cats (or is that really a bass guitar?) and other similar noises - this really is TOSH!
I only give it the 1 star because Amazon do not allow a zero or minus star rating (yet). Really, save your money and avoid this "album" - I wish that I had......

Why did they bother, oh yes, $$$$
I'm sorry, but anybody who owns the two LTE CDs is going to be VERY unhappy with this CD. It's a very week rehash many of the ideas used on the LTE albums. What a waste of time. I really expected better of Tony Levin. Money is more important than the music here. Listen to this CD in the context of background noise, other than that just don't bother. These guys don't deserve your money for this lack of effort.

Shameful!
What are they thinking of?
I'd have thought the likes of Mike Portnoy, Jordan Rudess and Tony Levin would have shown more integrity.
This is a just rehashed stuff from the 'tape bin', a collection of out-takes which should have left out!
Bland, mediocre and tedious.
LTE 1 & 2 were powerhouses! Amazing albums - go for those!
This is pointless. Shame on you guys!
