Fair sometimes noisy
Looks sleek. It's just a cpu cooling fan in a plastic case with a USB cable. I have loads of old spare cpu cooling fans, so im gutted I didn't think of making my own. Still, I like the design. br /Sometimes the fan will get really noisy when I turn the machine on whether it's connected to a hub, or directly connected, and usually decides to make lots of noise late at night (when you want it to be quiet! :) ). br /I logged a support ticket with Belkin, they did respond, but I think it's not a top priority tbh.

Excellent and quiet too!
I read some of these reviews and shopped around, however I decided to take a punt on this product. Best punt I have taken for a long while!! It has saved my laptop from overheating, but unlike some of the people who found the fan noisy, I found it to be suprisingly quiet, to the point I had to check if it was working underneath by putting my hand over it for a second! I am pleased to say I have good hearing and yes I do clean my ears! So trust me, it's not that! Great product and would recommend and I am buying another one for another latop I use!

Effective but noisy
I should have read the specifications properly before ordering this - my laptop is a bit too big for it and must be ballanced carefully on top. Having said this, it does work for it, making the laptop noticably cooler. One thing that is a pain is the amount of noise it makes. It really is too loud. I got used to it, but I'm very self conscious about it whenever anyone else is working in the same room. It's cheap - and value for money is a high priority for me - but I'd recommend spending a bit more for a quieter model if there is one out there.

A good buy at a reasonable price
Really pleased with the laptop cooler, It does what it says it will do, I am glad that I bought it.
