From a gamers point of view...
Apart from being an above average webcam for the price its also great fun to play the small but growing list of compatible games which you can find on the Playstation store. Highlights Include games like Trials of Topaq and Operation Creature Feature. br / br /Tips for use- 1. Make sure the room your in is well lit when your using this cam especially for games or it will struggle with motion sensing. br /2.Dont forget theres a zoom on the web cam which you can twist either to the left or the right if you find your sofas to close or far from your tv.

Playstation Eye Camera
This is a very good quality camera when connected to the ps3 and singstar, easy to install just insert into a usb port and your up and running, lots of hours of fun with family and friends, also comes with ps3 eyecreate to create your own videos, quality is excellent sound crystal clear, a recommended buy.

Lovely webcam, shame all the software for it is pitiful
If you consider this product as a webcam it is pretty much flawless, works as it should. Sadly it isn't just a webcam so I have to get negative: the bundled software (EyeCreate) is, ahem, politeness forbids. Unfortunately all the titles which require the Playstation Eye are similarly woeful particularly for the lack of integration with the PS3 operating system. In particular avoid Mesmerize and Aqua Vita, neither include the ability to use them with the PS3's music playing capability making them screensavers rather than visualizations. Neither title will captivate you for long without a tune playing. Trials of Topoq is quite pretty and mildly interesting but compared to other PS3 titles I'd have to say it was half baked. br /On the plus side, software wise, I've found that the integration with Buzz Quiz TV is quite good, building an album of Carry Out Quiz photos as you play.

The perfect add on,amazing
I just had to get the ps3 eye as i looked all over for information about it, and it just amazed me, the software for the ps3 is a simple picture,video and sound recorder but then there are loads of funny effects to go with it, also you buy a game called operation creature which is quite good and many other's which simply you'll see your self transparently in the background of the screen. br /It just has to be bought for ps3 singstar as well , you can't go wrong as you are able to record yourself on singstar , you can watch your video's of you and your friends singing and save them as well, it brings great laughs I know when i'm singing with my friends but it's has to bought.
