That traumatic experience, which makes for a hilarious opening-scene send-up of the Stallone thriller iCliffhanger/i, prompts Ace to venture to Africa, where he goes native with the tribe that hired him to find their symbolic bat. From that point anything goes, with Carrey pushing the boundaries of good taste (what, you were expecting good taste?) up to and including his now-infamous "birth" scene from the backside of a mechanical rhinoceros. Who Couldnt Love This
It's Jim Carrey at his best! br /i've watched both of these dvd's at least 15-20 times and i still find myself laughing out loud. Now maybe people would argue this may be due to my taste in humour. But i dare anyone to watch it and not laugh at least once. Its not even just laughing its laughing with tears streaming down your cheeks.

Ace Ventura - Jim Carrey's finest creation?
The two Ace Ventura DVDs came in a budget package, which I decided to get when I realised my 12-year old had never seen Carrey in his earlier manifestation. br / br /I reckoned, rightly, that the combination of physical humour, slapstick and mild smut would appeal and, in fact, we all sat through them in frequent fits of laughter, as did her schoolmates. br / br /A little low-budget compared to 'The Mask' or 'The Truman Show', but worth owning - especially the first one.

Classic film...always a winner!!
Great film bought for my fiance as a Chritmas present! br /We have watched one film out of the box set but can't wait to watch the other one!!! Brillinat classic film, esp if you like Jim Carrey!!! :) br /

Great value, but BEWARE........
Just a quick review to warn buyers that 'Ace Ventura - When Nature Calls' is cut by one minute thirty eight seconds to achieve a PG rating (As are all versions available in the UK). Several of the edgier/cruder jokes have been either reduced or removed. br / br /If that doesn't bother you then buy this boxset without hesitation, but if you want the films completely uncut then buy the region 1 DVDs from America. br / br /

Two Great films!
If your a fan of Jim Carrey, these films are a must have. Both of them are hilarious probably two of his best films. Brilliant!
