A Great Beginner's Instrument
On the arrival of this package i was concerned about whether buying a bass from the net was the best idea, but as a beginning bassist it has really satisfied me. Though not top quality, the amp is great for practising alone or with friends and playing along to tracks, I can find no flaws in the tuner, the lead and jacks are robust, strap is comfortable, 3 different types of pick is nice, and the gig bag is fine since i don't intent to be strutting around with it like a fashion acessory.
The guitar itself is very good. The tuning knobs have taken a few knocks and fared very well, the body has survived similar wear with no marking, and the strings have yet to fail me. It actually looks as good as the pictures suggest, if not better. The glossy finish fades with the grease of the fingers, but shines back up perfectly with a dry cloth. Yet, The answer to the question of Whether it is of the high quality and tone that an experienced and regularly performing bassist would desire is likely to be a no.

For biginners i'd say this is a very good instrument to learn, and begin performing with; clearly standing out from the cheaper and less reliable beginners packs.
