Excellent Item.
What a great bit of kit. I am well impressed. I purchased this for my new 307cc as my 206cc had a car kit installed which went when selling the car. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this and I am glad that I did. The unit paired easily with my N95 8GB and although it didn't automatically transfer the phonebook the simple process to do it manually worked quickly and set up in under a minute. The automatic answering is great and voice clarity is outstanding. The unit also looks good. Although the unit only comes with a car charger my USB cable for my phone fits it and it charges via the PC or the USB mains adapter that I have so charging not a problem wherever I am. I would certainly purchase this item again and recommend it to family and friends. You will not be disappointed with this item.

Happily handsfree
Good - Compact, secure yet easily detachable magnetic fix, better sound than wired handsfree & other non-wired ones I've owned, microphone seems good, easy operation, good charge length, easy link up to phone & address book, good voice dial recognition, can use in office/home, reasonable price.
Not so good - Glossy black finish that jars with muted car interiors and is easily smudged by fingerprints, blinking power-on light at night (not bad in day as others suggest), poor voice answer response to calls (but easy to use buttons), long press needed to power down.
The goods easily outweigh the not-so-goods, and I give it a big thumbs up!

Great - if you accept the limitations
Overall I am pleased with the Supertooth Voice.... the sound quality from the unit is surprisingly good, and the ability to answer calls by simply saying "OK" is very useful when driving - as is the announcement of the name of the caller. It attaches to the sun-visor via a clip and magnets on the back of the unit. It is small and light and easy to slip into a jacket pocket when getting out of the car.

So what are the limitations? Well, yes, you can connect several different phones to the Supertooth, but, not at the same time. I have a personal and a work mobile and had hoped that I could use the Supertooth to answer calls coming in on either. Unfortunately you can only connect one phone at a time. Switching should be as simple as disconnecting one and then connecting the other, however I found that I have to factory re-set the unit to get my Nokia to connect, which is annoying.
Also, you have to speak in the direction of the microphone.... after initial experimentations I have found that, with the unit on the sunguard, I need to speak at a slightly upwards angle to ensure I am heard.... not disasterous, but a little annoying. Although advertised as such, I can't see it actually being a practical alternative as a speakerphone outside of the car - you would have to keep pointing it at whoever wanted to speak next.
A previous review mentions the annoying flashing bluetooth light.... and I have to agree. In daylight driving you don't notice it, however with night driving it really is quite surprisingly distracting.

Overall however, for the price, this product works very well and, if you accept the limitations I mention, is a good and relatively cheap way of getting a good quality sounding handsfree kit.

Good choice . . . .
Glad I bought it. I like the magnetic clip on the visor (nice and secure, out of the way, but easily removable), sound quality top drawer (and thats the most important spec). Volume control tad fiddly, but once its set up in the car it doesnt need changing (I keep bringing mine indoors for mobile phone conference calls, and keep forgetting to change the settings). Battery life - dont worry about it, never gone flat.

Charging is not a problem, either use the cigarette lighter socket, but its a mini usb socket (thats on my PC for my camera and digital dictaphone).

I dont use the voice features. Answering the phone I just press the green button (which lights up on a call), but you can say Accept or Answer (works most of the time).

Only problem I have found: Our bedroom is above the garage (where the car is). And I used my phone as an alarm. And I left supertooth on. And it was in bluetooth range.

Well I'm sure the alarm rang in the car . . . .

Got the supertooth and am quite happy with it - except for one thing. I have been sent numerous text messages and they are not being read through the unit. They are left on the phone and I have to visually read them, rather than hearing them while driving. This is the main reason I bought the unit, and there are no instructions on how this part works. I do a lot of driving and get quite a few texts. Happy enough with the unit, but this bit is a safety no no, with no instrutions and the website does not offer any help either.
