i lost weight!!!
i bought this dvd and was very concious that it may not work but it worked after about 2 weeks and i have lost weight! its highly recommended

Would make a good Weight Loss CD but poor DVD
The content of the Dvd was very low budget, something easily produced on a home Dvd Camera and once seen best forgotten, it certainly didn't capture my imagination or make me focus on weight loss.
I did manage to extract the 15 minute hypnotherapy weight loss session from the Dvd and found this to be very relaxing and theraputic in contrast to the Dvd. I listen most days as suugested and my weight has gradually reduced. I think the hypnotherapy session should have been put onto Cd, as the session is listened to eyes closed, so why put it on Dvd if you are not supposed to be watching the session?

Does actually hypnotise
There's no getting away from it, this DVD is exceptionally cheesy & low budget & as I started to watch it I wondered how on earth it was going to work. The 1st section is Susan talking through the process & addressing what presumably are common fears about hypnotherapy. There is also footage of a woman eating a salad, spinning around in her garden, & relaxing into hypnotherapy - like I said before it is VERY cheesy!!

However I settled back on the sofa & followed Susan's instructions. At first I found it a bit hard to relax but pretty soon I felt like I was asleep yet still aware of what Susan was saying, so definitely hypnotised, I even tested this by trying to open my eyes & I couldn't until Susan said to.

All the advice she gives while you're hypnotised is standard stuff - drink more water, don't weight yourself, eat what you want in moderation, eat slowly etc etc. I know I should do this yet I still overeat so I'm guessing the point of hypnotherapy is to drill the information into your subconscious. Susan also believes that the reason we overeat is because as children we're taught to eat everything on our plate & also that at some point we come to associate food with comfort so she claims that as part of the hypnotherapy is to 'delete' this information from our brains.

You do need to play the dvd every day until you get down to your desired size but it's not a long session, I've not timed it but I'd guess around 15mins so unless you have a super busy life you should be able to squeeze it in each day. It's very relaxing, I found that when it gets to the point where Susan says she's going to bring me back round I don't want her to, so rather than seem like a daily chore it's actually a very nice bit of 'me' time which hopefully is going to re-program me to eat less & exercise more!!

It's too soon for me to tell whether I've lost weight yet, however I've given it a 4star because it did definately hypnotise me & therefore Susan's messages are being embedded in my subconscious.
