I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have been very disappointed. The motor mechanism is extremely weak and doesn't turn the feeder around properly, with the normal result that the food isn't dispensed. On top of that, you have to keep it outside the tank on a completely flat surface (it doesn't mention this in the product description) - that's fine if your tank has a flat hood with a hole in it for food, but mine doesn't and you can't make a hole in it either as the manual suggests as the only flat part has the lights directly underneath. Basically a waste of money.
