Great HDMI Splitter
I have a Sony Bravia LCD TV with only 1 HDMI input, and I purchased this splitter to save me switching the leads behind the TV everytime I wanted to use the PS3. As another reviewer suggested, I have Sky HD going into input 2 on the splitter and the PS3 going into input 1, and it works perfectly switching between the two. There is also a manual button to force the unit to switch should the need arise, although so far it switches just fine on its own.

A word of warning though, you will also need to purchase another HDMI lead to connect the splitter to the TV. What you get here is just the splitter. This was not clear when I made the purchase, and once I received the splitter I had to place another order for an HDMI cable so that I could actually use it. Its a bit like buying a TV and then having to purchase a power lead to plug it in. This is why I only gave this product 4 stars instead of 5.

Once the unit was connected to SKYHD, the PS3 and the TV, a little led light came on and it started to work (I beleive that it is powered through the HDMI leads). There is also a socket in the splitter to connect a poewer supply if needed (another purchase required).

Overall a great product for the money though and I would recommend it.

Does the Job Perfect
after trying some plastic rubbish from Maplins which I was told caused problems with the 'handshake' (Sky TV insallation term meaning 'connection') between the Sky box and the TV (Samsung) I purchased the Vivo Splitter for half the price and this works purfect. Just plug in and off you go. My only small gripe is why they don't build the HDMI lead into it rather then having to purchase another one. Still 5 out of 5, excellent and cheap product

Cracking little product
Small, simple and works perfectly. I have a Panasonic Viera which only has one HDMI socket. I've plugged my Freesat HD and a PS3 along with my DVD player that has an HDMI socket.
Absolutely no setup, short of plugging HDMI cables. The remote control works a treat and switches inputs without any issues.
I don't usually send feedback on stuff I have bought however this is such a neat piece of kit I thought I would write this review.

In short don't waste your money on more expensive splitters, buy this and you really won't be disappointed.

Superb
Excellent bit of kit ! Works perfect, easy to set up and, of course, cheap.

I've got an older HD telly with only one HDMI which is taken up with my Sky HD, i have got a 360 connected via component and when the missus bought me a PS3 (yes i am a lucky bloke) i tried connecting the 360 via a VGA connection but the colours were all washed out and dull! |Thats why i bought this bit of kit and i haven't looked back........got my PS3 and Sky HD connected via this and it work a treat (got my 360 back on component).......

Excellent once I had got it to work
I had issues with the switcher initially - it wouldn't recognise my ps3. I used the 1.5m cable I had as the output cable for the ps3 input and used my 3m cable for the output to the tv. As the signal is amplified by the splitter, this worked first time. Its great not having to get up and swap cables all of the time! Recommended
