Feel The Power
Conan made famous by the film starring Arnie as the barbarian the is a series created for the younger genearation Conan the cartoon series story centres around Conan going on a quest to find a cure for the magical curse that has turns his family to stone and thwarting his every move is a evil wizard Rathanmon and his serpent people and other humans who chose to serve him. br / br /Conan is not alone in this quest he find friends alone the way and always has his loyal but arguementive baby phoenix. br / br /So Conan armed with his star metal sword and acompanyed by his friends Conan continues he quest to find the cure and rid the world of the Serpentmen and ther leader Rathamon br / br /This series was on CBBC in 1992 in the afternoons on BBC 1 and was popular. br / br /If you want your children to watch Conan but see the as unsuitable for them then this give you what you need the Conan story and made to target children and perfect gift for chirstmas or any other time. br / br /I don't own this excat copy but I can recall the series on TV and even though my DVD is just the first four episodes it give me a taster of the entire season one.

Conan massive
Its about time they released this cartoon on dvd. Its great when they make a cartoon about comic characters. Its a great cartoon about Conan and allies fighing against the snakemen of Sett. Conan's parents are turned to stone by wrath-Amon, so Conan journeys the land (with his star metal sword) in search of a cure. Along the way he meets other warriors (with star metal weapons) who aid him in his quest for a cure and to end the tyranny of Wrath Amon and his snakemen. If you enjoy watching cartoons with plenty of action, then this is one of the many dvd sets you should think about adding to your collection.

I brought this DVD as an impulse piece of nostalgia and was suprised how the cartoon still held up over 16 years! The disc contains the first 13 episodes of the Conan cartoon, that ran for the 64 episodes. The first 13 episodes serve as an introduction to the cartoon's universe looking to set the stage for a more fluid storyline from episode 14 onwards. br / br /The animation holds up well, with a good range of character designs from Conan himself, through to a good level of detail to one off and supporting characters. I'll admit that the cheesey intro music is still as catchy as ever and that the story lines are not as laboured as in some other cartoons of the period. The last three episodes of the disc, Wingfang's Eyrie, the Serpent Riders of Set and Seven against Stygia are particular highlights with real attempts at character development, good set piece action scenes and good inter-linking with long term story arcs. br / br /The DVD doesn't make an attempt to offer any extras so you are just buying the episodes, at the moment Jetix haven't committed to releasing the rest of the episodes, but finger's crossed they should - it was a great series.

good show, average dvd set
this is a very action packed show. fans of conan will enjoy this show, but since its a cartoon theres no blood whatsoever. All in all, its a good show to watch.However this dvd set has some flaws: in some of the episodes the sound is in stero while in others its only mono and theres a bug in the second episode where the picture freezes and prevents you to watch the last 3 minutes of the episode. br /but if youre a fan of conan or just want to watch again this show for nostalgia sake, youll overcome this small problems. lets hope that season 2 is also released
