I used to like Leppard when they were a rock band...Lets face facts,Def Leppards last good album was Hysteria. This band was what started it all off for me so I still have some respect for them, but like Bon Jovi(which I own nothing by) they haven't put out a solid album since the 80's.If Whitesnake can do it then I'm sure Def Leppard can.
Its a shame because there are so many good bands out there that deserve more attention like Bonfire,Gotthard and Great White to name but a few.Why do people say that an album is good just because its been written by their favourite artist. If its bad its bad end of...I like the Scorpions but their Eye to Eye release was shocking and same goes for Judas priests Jugulator.
I hope they deliver an album for the fans next time and don't leave it too long either.

BEST ALBUM FOR A FEW YEARS!!!I have been a Leppard fan for 20 years and i've got to say this has got to be their best album for a while. There are some great tracks on this album with the classic Def Leppard harmonies and guitars. The standout tracks on this album for me are the opener Go, Cmon Cmon , Hallucinate and Bad Actress. There isn't a song on this album I don't like, a couple took a few listens to grow on me but this album is by far better than X and Euphoria. I can't wait for the UK shows to see how much these tunes rock on the live stage. Some reviewers here are obviously not listening to this album properly or need hearing aids. This is a great album with some great songs on it, if you like Def Leppard already you won't be disappointed but I would also recommend this album to newcomers to the band too. Listen to it for what it is great fun rock'n'roll from one of this countries greatest bands.

A DisappointmentAfter 6 years waiting, the fact that after several listens I still don't find any of the songs memorable is, frankly, a disappointment. Even X had some songs which struck me as being good from the first listen. Not here. Songs From The Sparkle Lounge without any sparkle, unfortunately.

HELLO !!!!! Where the H*ll is MUTT...........try working with MuttCompletly shocked & angered, now deciding whether to purchase this less than quality work from the guys, what really turned me off is this bullsh*t country rock single they made with the "country version" of brad pitt [TIM MAGRAW]...C'mon Boys please don't jump on that B*LLSH*T "country rock american bandwagon" that so many hard rockers have decided to do these days for the sake of publicity and few new female fans.........if i decide to buy this cd, it will be the "japanese import" that includes "the first single" without tim magraw's annoying twangy country vocals.....

Wish I could give 1/2 stars! It's not average, but it's not great. Deserves 3.5 stars! It's solid and enjoyable (really like 'Tomorrow'), but at the asme time it's nothing mind blowing and fairly forgettable at times... If your a die hard fan it's a decent addition to the Leppard back catalogue (better than X by far), but if you're new to them try Hysteria first.
