On the ochy brocky ..
Darts is not a sport .. period .. its a passtime like hoola hoops , monster munch or dominos , if darts was lobbing a javelin sized projectile 100 yards into a numberd target ,cool, but all of the current darts players would fall down before they ran the 10 yards to throw it or have to go out for a fag and a pint then forget what they went there for . I grant you, it IS a skillfull game like draughts or pin the tail on the donkey. I actually like darts games ( check out the one on the DS ) but this is'nt that good ... sorry people, like motor racing and horse riding its not a real sport.

Good, but could've been better.
Love watching darts, love playing darts, so couldn't wait for this to come out.

All in all, it's a good game, and very addictive. The hours just fly by, and your Missus will surely kick off with you when you spend most of your time playing this of an evening. Loads of different games to choose from. It's not just 501!!! There's variations on everything, (301, double to start, double to finish, round the board, round the board including doubles/trebles, and some other games I've never even heard of!!) The controls are very easy to get a grip of, and you soon get the hang of it, but don't expect 180's to be coming out of your ears. As soon as you get a 'pressure shot', you can hear a heart-beat thumping through your speakers, and the aiming system isn't as steady as it was for the shot before!!!

The graphics could be a lot better (very visible pixels on the darts, amongst other things), and the commentary does get very repetative after a short while. A set of stereo hedphones really brings out the 'pub atmosphere', and really does seem to bring the game to life.

But, if you're a fan of darts, I strongly recommend that you buy this game, get a set of headphones, make sure you've got a nights supply of beers, and wait for that brilliant feeling of your first 180!!

Top Darting Action
Waited a long time for the next gen version of darts following the superb PS2 version and I wasnt disapointed.

There is something so simple yet so addictive and competitive about darts on a video game and it really feels like to are competing for real. With your group of mates this is a great game for a night in as its so competitive and captures the atmosphere really well, recommend this to any darts or sports fan!.

It works the same as the Ps2 version. You pull the right analog stick back to the correct power (which changes every dart) and then you pull forward. If you dont pull straight though the dart will veer off.

Personally if you love darts youl love this game but if your not a big fan youll find it very boring very quickly.

How are they going to do this?
I love darts but how are they going to make this game work?

I hope it is not going to be a case of press A to start a bar filling up and then press it on the line. It will be interesting to actually see how you throw a dart on this game.
