LOVE IT
I simply love this album, up to form and fills the gap since the last album. Rock With U is my pop song of the year. Thank you Janet :o)

I was surprised at how good it was... *5 stars!*
I was extremely surprised by what i heard from janet. I never thought her music was this good.
What an amazing album.
Now why doesnt the UK pay respect to true artists like Mariah And Janet instead of always focussing on madonna...
I really dont know...
"Feedback" is amazing and i really love "Never Letchu Go"!
Aswell as "Greatest X" and "Luv"! And The Interludes are smashing!!
At least all her songs dont sound the same! One of my fave albums in my collection. Fair play!
x

WHAT COMEBACK? SHE NEVER WENT ANYWHERE
While this album does not seem to be gathering the momentum of Madonna's Hard Candy or Mariah's latest effort, I couldnt care less. This is classic Janet.

All of her albums have had some element of sex and for those who were angry at the Superbowl incident. I thought it was her crowning glory. Because she never got so much exposure in her life. Unfortunately this did not translate to record sales. However if she were a new artist those sales would be considered phenomenal. And true Janet fans will know from her concerts that she was always risque.

I thought the album Damito Jo and 20 Y.O were great but without the media fanfare that accompanies her album it was difficult to really feel their growth as she only released 2-3 singles.

Nevertheless I almost had a heart attack when I saw the videos to Feedback and Rock Wit u and it reminded me why I love this woman As I told a dear friend recently, Janet could release an album of nursery rhymes and Id still buy it.

As for the title well its true she never went anywhere and had been around for over two decades. Nuff said.

a true return to form from janet..miss jackson if you're nasty!
the new album and can if return miss jackson to the nations heart! yes "damita joe" and "20 y.o." may have missed the spot but the new album is pure class!

before you play..the photos on the cover (although airbrushed) show how good miss jackson has weathered the years..but has the music?

with the hottest producers around onboard...track by track ignoring the intros!

"feedback" is rhythm nation in the 2000's decade....its a classic janet dance track with modern twist 10/10

"luv" is another class track that is pure janet 10/10

"rollercoaster" is an eclectric track..theres a lot going on but the catchy chorus saves it 8/10

"rock with u" is a classic! its got a retro feel aka kylie minogues "wow". its a stunning track 10/10

"2 nite" has a hard dance edge but with the classic miss jackson vocals! 9/10

"can't be good" is a stunning heartbreaker that was missing on the last albums! think "thats the way love goes" and its got the same feel 9/10

"never letchu go" is another janet classic..along the lines of "again" or "come back to me"..janet sounds fragile like she does so well and its a long time since we had a classic track like this 10/10

"greatest x" is another classic janet track..she does what she is best at! a ballad delivered to perfection! 10/10

"so much betta" is ok..its a bit heavy on the vocoder..and the childs voice aka vocoder gets annoying 5/10

"the 1" a duet with missy elliott that is more missy than miss j! ok 6/10

"whats ur name" is a beautiful mid tempo track delivered with class 9/10

"discipline" is sexy and sultry but it misses the spot! 7/10

"curtains" is a bit of a filler !

"let me know" has hints of the old janet it just doesnt quite get there 8/10

one of the most solid janet albums for a long time! it deserves to be a hit!

THIS IS A GREAT ALBUM
THIS ALBUM DESERVES MUCH MORE PUBLISITY THAN IT IS GETTING IN THE UK, JANETS 10TH STUDIO ALBUM DOESNT FAIL TO IMPRESS, FROM THE FIRST TRACK TO THE LAST, LET'S JUST HOPE THE SECOND SINGLE FROM THE ALBUM (ROCK WIT U) GETS MUCH MORE AIRPLAY AND A BETTER RELEASE, COME ON DEF JAM, FEEDBACK ONLY GOT A MEASLY 12" PIC DISC AND 1 TRACK DOWNLOAD RELEASE, IM IN FAVOUR OF NEW TECHNOLOGY BUT I DO LIKE TO OWN OLD FASHIONED CDS AS WELL, I JUST CANT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE NOT HYPING THIS ALBUM MORE OVERHERE. IT ANNOYS ME THAT MOST PEOPLE DONT EVEN NOW JANET HAS A NEW ALBUM OUT!!!

RIGHT ENOUGH OF THE RANTING, THIS ALBUM IS AS SLICK AS IT GETS AND WHEN PRODUCED WITH SOME OF THE BEST AROUND, ITS HARD NOT TO BE IMPRESSED.

COME ON EVERYONE LETS START SPREADING THE WORD AND TELL PEOPLE ABOUT IT!
