Janet...Lost Her Touch?
Some good tracks, but not enough! Fed up of being disappointed by lack of material on her past 2/3 albums!

Ms. Jackson is still the Queen!
'Discipline'is Janet Jacksons tenth studio album, and third since that infamous superbowl appearance. First of all lets just say its a HUGE improvement from 20 Y.O. Highlights from the album include dance songs such as 'Feedback' and 'Rock With U' showing that Janet is still queen of the dancefloor. There is also RnB highlights such as 'Can't B Good' and 'Discipline' showing how she can still pull of a tight RnB jam without it sounding to dated. This album also has a colloboration with Missy Elliott on 'The 1' which sounds ok but best suited as an album only song! Also top producers help out with this album such as Ne-Yo and of course Jermaine Dupri. Their are only a couple of problems I have with this album, first of all this is Janets first album since her debut in which she has not written or co-written any of the tracks! In my opinion this may show that Janet was not creatively inspired when making the album and that this album may have been released not because Janet has something new to say but just the case of releasing another Janet album because of her iconic status! Who Knows? Also their is no input by long term producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis which shows that Janet is trying something new, which is good for any artist but there is just something missing from this album and coming from one of her biggest fans is just not a Janet Jackson album! Nevertheless 'Discipline' is a good enough effort for any Janet fan or RnB/Dance fan and it still shows that Janet ain't going anywhere and that her music will go on forever!

LOVE IT
I simply love this album, up to form and fills the gap since the last album. Rock With U is my pop song of the year. Thank you Janet :o)

I was surprised at how good it was... *5 stars!*
I was extremely surprised by what i heard from janet. I never thought her music was this good. br /What an amazing album. br /Now why doesnt the UK pay respect to true artists like Mariah And Janet instead of always focussing on madonna... br /I really dont know... br /"Feedback" is amazing and i really love "Never Letchu Go"! br /Aswell as "Greatest X" and "Luv"! And The Interludes are smashing!! br /At least all her songs dont sound the same! One of my fave albums in my collection. Fair play! br /x

WHAT COMEBACK? SHE NEVER WENT ANYWHERE
While this album does not seem to be gathering the momentum of Madonna's Hard Candy or Mariah's latest effort, I couldnt care less. This is classic Janet. br / br /All of her albums have had some element of sex and for those who were angry at the Superbowl incident. I thought it was her crowning glory. Because she never got so much exposure in her life. Unfortunately this did not translate to record sales. However if she were a new artist those sales would be considered phenomenal.And true Janet fans will know from her concerts that she was always risque. br / br /I thought the album Damito Jo and 20 Y.O were great but without the media fanfare that accompanies her album it was difficult to really feel their growth as she only released 2-3 singles. br / br /Nevertheless I almost had a heart attack when I saw the videos to Feedback and Rock Wit u and it reminded me why I love this woman As I told a dear friend recently, Janet could release an album of nursery rhymes and Id still buy it. br / br /As for the title well its true she never went anywhere and had been around for over two decades. Nuff said.
