Good value for money
Much cheaper than other similar products but works really well. I use it with a 17" MacBook Pro and it really keeps it cool even when using the machine for demanding tasks. Well worth the money.

Cheap and chearful
The only thing that lets this product down is the outer casing can sometime catch the fan blades and create a loud noise until you adjust the lap top and try to stop the noise. 3 out of 5 for me because of this.

Excellent
This Product is excellent, i've been using it for a few hours now and have tested it with all kinds of software running and Its made a major improvements, My biggest reservation about buying this was the fact that I have a 17.5" laptop and this is made for a 15", its a little small but the upraised rubber pads make it perfect.

I have been using this for a long time now and very pleased with this item.A good fan in it and keeps the lap top, nice and cool. Great product and good price.

Not for anyone with a real laptop heat problem!
Well, I got my cooler a few weeks ago now. I was very excited when it arrived because I'd been needing one for a while. I opened the box to discover it'd only been wrapped in a small amount of bubble wrap and was in fact smaller than the dimensions had led me to believe. (Suits 15 inch laptops, my backside!) This sort of packaging just screams that the product isn't worth protecting much. br / br /On the upside I marvelled at the light weight of the product. I thought at the time this would be good since I move my laptop around a fair bit, so it'd be nice to have a lovely lightweight cooler. It worked ok for a bit and kept my laptop at a reasonable temperature.... however, when I really cranked up the heat in my CPU by running a graphics heavy game... the cooler failed to fight off the heat. br / br /It also ran quietly to begin with. I'd heard complaints about the noise in the reviews and was pleasantly surprised to find that there was noticable noise... but you could easily ignore it. However, mine decided after a few weeks to begin making an unholy whirring noise. THIS was something I couldn't just ignore. As a result I can't use the thing anymore because it's just too distracting, not to mention extremely annoying! br / br /I'm posting this review in hope to warn off anyone else who might end up with an equally negative experience. £20 for this thing, it only works if you're using a laptop that doesn't heat up much and then doesn't get moved around or bumped at all. This flimsy piece of kit... is frankly not up to the task many laptop users would give it. The sort of person who this product would be suitable for, is the sort of person who doesn't need a laptop cooler. If I knew then what I know now, I'd have saved myself £20 and gone for a better make and model.
