Gone r the days!!!
Gone r the days of Doggystyle(1 of the best hip hop albums eva with the chronic),now we r left with utter nonesence from a hip hop great,what is he doin?dont even think he can mc n e more.If u want a real hip hop album with funk and soul try Talib kweli's EARDRUM or n e common album!!Hate 2 say it but give it up Snoop dizzle lol......Eardrum

Dogg On Form
Snoop makes albums which are to be listened to in their entirety.

A superb mixture of trademark 'Dogg, and some real soul and r'n'b joints thrown into the mix.

Like Snoop, love this. He just keeps on getting better.

SAVE RAP, GO AND BUY A GOOD RAP ALBUM NOT THIS SHIZZITLE
Ironically Snoop was one of the best when he was rapping about 187 on an undercover cop (Deep Cover Soundtrack) on the first Chronic with Dre and Doggystyle. And now he's not one of the best because all he does is talk about himself, in a way that isn't even witty.

Rap has a long tradition of bragging and "mine's bigger than yours you're momma said so" rhymes, but it must be done with HUMOR and CLEVERLEY to make your shocked or laugh when it's done right. Where is Snoops talent? He tries ot make up for it by a surprising selection of musical styles which would be hot if only he dropped some 5 star lyrical delivery over them. Here you just get weak boring self centred rubbish about how important Snoop is and how large he is, which if he was such a superstar he wouldn't brag about it. It really doesn't fascinate me when he's regurgitating stuff Jay-z bragged about like 5 years ago, and said it way slicker and sharper. The only thing right here is the ablum name EGO TRIPPIN.

Do The Knowledge
Snoop's new lp is a solid record and im not even a huge snoop fan. I read the comment about the weak Teddy Riley beats, even though you have the right's to your opinion i beg to differ. Teddy's Beats are serious and above par with most of todays producers by far. Do your knowlege B. Best tracks: SD is out, gangsta like me, sexual eruption, waste of time, cool, deez holywood nights. I'm a huge rick james fan and i hear rick james all over this lp. Good Look snoop.

really really poor
Snoop dogg's 9th studio album is also probably his worse to date..i've never heard such rubbish thats passing itself off as decent hip hop as whats on this album. It has 2 or 3 good tracks which the single sexual seduction is one but the beats are bland and uninpired. The Teddy riley produced tracks are some of the weakest on here..ted used to be a killer producer back in the 80's and 90's but hois tracks here are really weak. Thing is snopp has always had to rely on top producers but this album just doesnt have many. The neptunes prod oone of the better tracks "sets up" and the bonus track "nobody better" flips the aint nobody sample originally for one and is cool. Tracks like "neva have to worry" "let it out" "gangsta like me" (there are more!) are the kinda of bland 50 cent tracks he has on his albums..terrible beats..thats the prob here..theres just too much dross and at 22 tracks deep this is an example of quantity over quality. Terrible album..one of hip hops major diappointments of 2008! for good hip hop check out lupe fiascos album or the new pete rock..leave this alone!
