Awesome!
Probably my favourite gangster film EVER! The violence is non stop and amazing, and the film had me hooked from start to finish! Words do not do this film justice, its the film Essex Boys should have been and more! Buy it.

SURPRISINGLY ONE OF THE BEST FILMS IN RECENT YEARS
RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER took me totally by surprise, as I expected not very much from this film and I stumbled over it "by accident". How pleasantly surprised I was by this absolutely stunning gangster film that can easily compete with SCARFACE or KING OF NEW YORK. The cast is SUPERB, excellent acting by Craig Fairbrass and Ricci Harnett who play their roles totally believable. The gritty setting is both, realistic and shocking. AN EXCELLENT BRITISH GANGSTER FILM.

brilliant film,far better than the essex boys and they say this is more or less what happened.if you like these sort of films its a definite must!its also true.

FANTASTIC
Bought it at the smae time as Green Steet2 and this was without a doubt the best one. Much more gritty and down to earth. br / br /Hubby says: Fantastic true story, about time we saw the rest of them, where is Courtney, where's the governor, someone could make a killing - lol

don't get all the fuss!!
What's everyone banging on about! An average film with poor acting. Much better films out there if you want proper hard cases. give this one a miss.
