half good
This alblum start fanastically with Candy shop. Really exciting begining for the album! 4 minutes is funky and enjoyable. Give it to me is clever and different. Heartbeat makes you wanna dance and smile. Miles is simply beautiful. Shes not me is interesting and has some unusual elements. Incredable is simply self absored, irritating and has a desperate undertone. The beat goes on reaks of desperation and the lyrics are simply immature. The rest of the album is not worthy of review.

Good but not Madonna's best! Still worth buying!
For me Madonna's best album's are True Blue, Like A Prayer and Ray Of Light. Yet again Madonna changes her music style and this is one of the reasons why she still remains Queen of pop. The main reason is that she is very good at writing excellent catchy pop songs. My favourite tracks are Candy Shop, Miles Away, She's Not Me and Incredible. I might be the odd one out here but, I find 4 Minutes to be one of the weaker tracks. Anyway overall Hard Candy is a good album which I'm sure 99% of Madonna's fans will enjoy. br / br /

BEST ALBUM OF 2008
Best album of 2008 by far. Madonna, Timbaland, Neptunes, Pharrel Williams, Justin timberlake have made a FANTASTIC job on this album. This is one of the best hip hop/dance albums you will hear in your entire life. br / br /01.Candy Shop - 10/10 br /Fantastic beat, and really catchy. my sugar is raw. br /02.4 minutes - 10/10 br /Best track on album. Best song of 2008, and the best hip hop/dance duet ever. br /03.Give it 2 me - 10/10 br /Best raving tune of 2008. br /04.Heartbeat - 8/10 br /Good beat, and good lyrics br /05.Miles Away - 8/10 br /Catchy song. I don't usually like this kind of thing but it's fantastic. br /06.She's Not Me - 7/10 br /I only like it because it has catchy lyrics. br /07.Incredible - 4/10 br /it can be INCREDIBLY annoying. one of the worst songs on album. br /08.Beat Goes On - 10/10 br /Madonna and Kanye are the best. Incredible beat and second best track on album. This should of been a single from the album. br /09.Dance2night - 9/10 br /Good beat. br /10.Spanish Lesson - 3/10 br /a very weak track. br /11.Devil wouldn't recognise you - 8/10 br /Reminds me of the Grand Theft Auto IV theme tune. br /12.Voices - 7/10 br /I must admit it is very catchy. br / br /if you like all three of the singles released from the album, BUY THE ALBUM. there's no questions about it. br / br / br /

Best Album from Madonna!!
After Like a prayer, ray of light .. the only outstanding work madonna has accomplished is HARD CANDY!! Truly superb!!

Geriatric Karaoke
I shiver when i think of this old women, dancing around dressed like a low rent porn star. The music is an obvious attempt to jump on whatever is hip at that moment and therefore is detestable in its concieted conception. The fact she does not actually sing (well, without a computer), is actually a positive in this case. br / br /Then you have the whole "production" of Madonna. Far from thinking "good on ya you old girl", it is actually depressing. Who is buying into all this? Who actually thinks this is in anyway relevant to music? Who is buying this other then through some weird sense of loyalty and nostalgia? br / br /I am puzzled and obviously just don't get it so just ignore my review. I ended up giving this CD, which was given to me as a joke, to my 13yr old cousin, who then asked who Madonna was............... sums it up.
