An Inferior Sequel
Breaking Atoms was a classic, no question. But the departure of the LargeProfessor, the main force of creativity in the trio, was a major loss.brThe two DJ's Skratch and Kut replaced him with Mikey D, a renkownfreestyler on the NY cypher/battle-circuit. His voice is raspy, hardcoreNew York, but he's no Extra-P. His story-telling on "Diary Of A Hit Man"is a high point, and he shines on the updated version of Just Hangin' Out"Only The Real Survive". He sounds most comfortable on the Posse cut "SetIt Off" alongside pre-LOX Jadakiss and Sheek Louch, where he can just hitus off with those freestyle-type brags.brThe music is solid, but it seems that the group are trying too hard toemulate the feel of their classic debut. Still, it is better than 80% ofrap albums released nowadays, and it belongs firmly in the pre-blingsection of any truly definitive Hip Hop CD collection. It's not easy tofind though, so happy hunting B-Boys/Girls!

Good early 90's hip hop
released originally in 94 this LP brings that early 90's New York hip hop sound well. Whilst not as good as Breakin Atoms, their first album, still worth having in your collectionpPeacepB-boy TimberpDJ Phat ChopspStyle Is Everything Cru / Belfast City Breakers
