Samsung BD-P1500/XEU - Blu-ray Disc Player
This product is fantastic. Although it is really an entry level Blueray player and as time goes by the cost will lower and the spec will improve Should not distract from the fact that it is a very good player now. only today I had seen the identical unit in COSTCO and even they could not beat this on price. br /Very easy to install and I had it up and running within a few minutes.

blu-ray player
sleek, stylish excellent value for money br / br /Not too many button on the unit, open/closes very smoothly br / br /Picture, quality is excellent, why did I wait so long (mainly cost) for those on a budget I would think you'd be hard pressed to find anything nearly as good at the price br / br /Sound, is very good, do not have full surround or 5:1 so may re-post later on when I have such a setup, but it clear 7 precise br / br /Overall, amazing

Broke after 4 months
After 4 months the player stopped working, it did not matter if i tried to load a disk or not it just kept freezing with a black screen and white stars. It was a really good player with fast-ish load times, looked good under samsung tv, was simple to use and better case design than the Samsung BD-P1600 Blu-ray Disc Player - Black. I never updated the firmware so can't really say what live was like on the player (need to use a external stick to access live). Amazon were really good in refunding me for this as they couldn't replace it because "no stock status". Have just ordered to end of line BD35 instead, good reviews, spec and price. Works well
This blu-ray player is my first and with no mention of profile 2.0 I was not sure if this would work with the new disks. I plugged it in to the mains and internet via a router, it updated with no problems (although took about 40 minutes).I've tried a few disks with profile 2.0 Live content and they all worked, even if it was all a little slow for not must content. Apart from that, it works fine with blu-ray disks and is great at up-stalling DVD's.
