Good telly but whats all the "Hype" about???
Yes this is a good telly, picture is superb!!! BUT.....I am NOT impressed with the sound quallity at all. There is NO deep bass, which makes the overall sound very "tinny", and when the volume is increased there is "vibration" coming from somewhere which I find VERY annoying to say the least. More importantly, there is no "off" button on this component!! which means you have to unplug the tv, rather than leave it on "standby", to save on wasted electric energy. Given that this is a very up to date tv from a well known company lg, I am not over the moon with this product. Saying that, the picture is amazing, with crystal clear clarity, but as for sound quallity.....VERY POOR. All this hype surrounding this tv is just a selling technique.

Value for money......
This is my first Big LCD Screen tele. I must admit I have purchased real best one. Looks great and worked fine out of box without depending on an instruction manual. if you are not upgrading to a SKY HD, then I would say its waste buying a fullHD tv. DVD upscaled picture was good and Bluray was excellent. The look of it quite good but the glossy finish is a dust magnet. Inte-Sensor(automatic picture adjustment) is OK however if you are after a brighter picture it's best not to choose that option.Overall a 5Star rated product. Excellent customer service from Amazon....

I Love It.....
I Love this TV. We have been shopping around for a while and have been hesitant at what to go for as we didn't want to spend all that money and regret what we bought. After reading the other reviews and viewing this tv in a local store i made my mind up just to go for it. Amazon was by far the cheapest retailer and to be able to pay so little for next day delivery was a big plus. We also ordered a stand from Amazon and both were delivered at 9am on the Saturday morning which was excellent. Very easy to get the TV onto the base and position and the TVs automatic setup did the rest. All that was left for me to do was sit back and play. I love the intelligent sensor, we keep turning the lights on and off to see the screen change, it's quality. The clear voice is also an excellent feature and really makes the difference. If you're in two minds over this........Don't be......Go for it......You won't regret it!!!! However wait for Amazon to get it back in stock as it's much cheaper than other retailers using Amazon.

Top class tv.
Following the advice with the other reviews, I purchased this tv and have been incredibly impressed with it so far. The extra features such as clear voice are really recognizable and once you've used AV mode, you'll wonder why other tv's don't have it, incredible. br /

We have had one of these tv's for about a month now. If you are considering anything else, don't! This item is absolutely stunning, both in looks in performance. The Picture quality is truly amazing, the sound is great, the features are excellent too. We get good performance from the standard Freeview channels(even though the reception isn't great in this area, we get no pixelations at all on this tv, as well as getting all the listed channels), but to see this in all it's glory, you should make an extra investment in an HD box. We use a Freesat box to get HD (much cheaper than Sky!). If you do choose one of these tv's, you'll love it. We do. Buy one!
