Art made memorable
Really pleased with this. Michael Palin's documentaries on The Colourists and Hammershoi are absolutely fascinating and it's great to have a permanent record. I hadn't seen the documentary on Anne Redpath before but it's well up to standard - albeit at half an hour somewhat shorter than the other two documentaries. Five stars is an easy recomendation. Just one slight quibble/query. The title is "Palin on Art" - but there was a fourth Michael Palin art documentary "The Ladies who loved Matisse" - it would have been easy to include that further documentary on this two disc set. I wonder why it was omitted?
