Quintessential Bear
In Australia, we see the American "Man V Wild" version of this show. But as the Yanks are reluctant to ship product here, I decided to buy the "Born Survivor" version from the trusty old UK. br / br /This series features Bear at his inspiring, and sometimes crazy, best. The films he made in the Sahara, Siberia and Sumatra are some of the most compelling television you will ever see and are well worth the investment. br / br /On the downside, I was disappointed to discover that some of the more graphic parts of the "Man v Wild" version I had seen on Discovery Australia, had been cut out in this version - one example is when Bear catches a Monitor Lizard in a stream in Sumatra and "dispatches it" (his words) against a tree trunk. br / br /All in all, despite missing some interesting scenes from the version I'd seen on Australian TV, this is still a great series to have in your collection. br /

absolutely amazing
What an amazing box set! It consist of 6 great epizodes, where Bear shows how to survive in dangerous places - Siberia, Sahara etc. A run time of each epizode is about 90 min. And then is there another 30 min of a bonus. Also this special edition includes as you know Bear eats. My favourite epizode is in Patagonia. Really good one. br /And what is also the great thing about this box set, is each episode wrapped in really nice cover with big pictures of Bear Grylls in action. br /Love it!

Very Good Buy!
This is one of the very best box sets i have ever bought. I watched it from start to finish and still wanted it to continue. The things he does is unbelieveable and very very inspiraring. Overall, i am pleased with this product. A very good deal for what is included and im that happy i will buy season one. If you are looking for adventure, danger and courage look no further than this season! br / br /

AMAZING SERIES
THIS IS BEAR GRYLLS AT HIS BEST.THE SERIES IS VERY ADDICTIVE AND YOU JUST WANT TO WATCH THEM BACK TO BACK! EACH EPISODE YOU THINK TO YOURSELF WHY IS HE PUTTING HIMSELF IN THIS SITUATION? BUT YOU KEEP WATCHING FROM YOUR SETTEE GLAD THAT HE HAS. WELL WORTH WATCHING AGAIN AND AGAIN.REALLY GOOD FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT AND THE BOX SET WAS GREAT VALUE.

Present for grandson
Both the grandson and his dad were very happy with the box selection and have watched with rapt attention. It also arrived in plenty of time to be forwarded to Germany where they now live.
