Great console with great games..... br /Until it breaks due to overheating after a year of moderate use. Yellow Light Of Death its called. The equivelent of the Red Ring Of Death on XBOX 360 only Sony want £145 to replace it unlike Microsofts no quibble exchange policy. Good way to lose you fanbase Sony.... Good one...

Flawed Brilliance
The PS3 does everything the Xbox and Wii do: only better, plus it's got a Blu-ray player. br / br /However, less than two years after purchase (for £420) my Blu-ray component has stopped working. Sony wants £99 to fix it. They think this is acceptable. Do you? I know I don't. br /

playstation 3 definately over rated
I owne an xbox 360 and decided to get a playstation 3 after hearing how good they were meant to be.I soon sold it as the games graphics and the online service was the biggest load of rubbish i have ever seen they said it had amazing graphics.but xbox 360 has graphics just as good if not better in some games.im going to get a stand alone bluray player instead.all in all not even killzone 2 or resistance 2 impressed me its just like playing gears of war on xbox but no where near as good gameplay.so avoid at all costs xbox cheaper and just as powerfull

I have been so happy with the ps3 would recommend it to any one and should also buy grandtheft auto 4 with it - never looked back. Also dvds and CDS play well on it; just orderd my frist blue ray dvd can not wait to watch it.
