not as good as I thought
I bought 2 of these phones one for my grandson and one as a spare unlike the other customers I had no problem getting my airtime once I actually managed to get through to orange and register one of the phones. Like the other customers I found using the phone quite annoying as there was no menu and text messages took for ever to read. What can you expect for the money will be reurning the other phone its still in the box. toal waste of money.

no free airtime
Same as above really. Bought this for nephew as first phone, but no-one can get the free airtime - not even the local orange store. Will try to contact amazon...

Where's the airtime?
This is supposed to come with £10 airtime but doesn't - I should have taken notice of a previous review warning of this fact. I have contacted amazon and hopefully will receive a reply soon.

Not so easy to use; free airtime not obtainable
My mother is still trying to figure out how to use this phone; it's not nearly as simple as it should be.

It turned out to be impossible to get the promised £10 of free airtime; my mother's local Orange phone shop spent ages trying to get it, but gave up; the code had already been activated (by someone else??), but no balance was credited to my mother's phone...

HARD WORK!!
This Phone was bought for my mum who struggles with most tecnology, in the hopes that the big screen and simplistic controls would be an asset, rather than a chore as is has become.
The phone is just flustrating to opperate, text messages are read with one word on the screen at a time which makes it labourious.
On the plus side if you want just to make calls it is fine as long as you can find the numbers as the names are so big they fill the screen.
A great idea, but needs just a little more thought put in to making a phone which is a more user friendly.
