Great Picture, BUT intermittent Black screen??
This is our first blu ray player and got a fab deal. The picture quality is great, sound is better - blu ray wonderful, upscales old dvds great too. BUT despite updating firmware as Samsung suggested, we get a completely black/blank screen and no audio for a few seconds at a time. Sometimes just once in a movie 1st half hour-ish, sometimes more often. br /Any suggestions? We are just out of 30 days return window!!!?

Great value player
For the money I couldn't ask for more of this player. Picture sound quality is superb even playing DVDs, which really improve in quality. br /It's a little slow to load Blueray discs but I believe that is the format. br /At this price, I'm sure it can't be beaten

Great Upscaling
I bought the Samsung BD-P1500/XEU - Blu-ray Disc Player so I could play blu-ray discs, which are perfect; however little did I know how great my old DVDs would look with the player's upscaling feature. Beautiful clarity and near hi-def imaging. I am so thrilled with it. A great buy!

Excellent Bargain
I did an awful lot of looking around on the internet before buying this blu ray player. I am glad this is the one i got. Alot of people mentioned having problems playing discs as it needed an update. I have still to this date not needed to update it, its played everything bar one DVD (And at the end of the day, its not a DVD player, and the DVD we were trying to play we have had problems playing in the past). Every other DVD we have used in this blu ray player have worked like a treat! br /The actual player has many functions far superior to anything i have seen. The only negative to this patricular bundle is that the Oceans Thirteen disc works fine and plays but the image quality i would say isnt that of HD. My opinion only. br / br /If you looking to buy a blu ray player i would certainly buy this one... Why spend £200+ on one then this one does it all!

does this player hav surround sound plugs for samsung speakers which i hav already got, can any1 help!!!
