great Blu ray player
Having just bought a fantastic Panasonic 37" plasma I decided to treat myself to a Panasonic Blu ray player. br /I'm no expert, but I like Panasonic and so does Which Magazine. The player looks good and works lovely. It upscales ordinary DVD's so they look as good as blu ray. Have just watched Casino Royale in Blu ray and it was very good. I can't really see a giant step forward in quality from ordinary DVD's, but who cares, the picture is superb.

Panasonic BD35
My second Panasonic blu-ray machine, this is very easy to set up, no complicated instructions. The HDMI cable supplied, however, is cheap and nasty, invest in a good quality HDMI cable. On screen info is clear and the remote is easy to use. It takes the BD35 some time to whirr into operation, this can be irritating, but the wait is worth it, as the picture quality is superb.Ejecting discs also takes sometime.Have not yet connected to the internet for the BD-Live experience.

Panasonic DMP-BD35EB-K Profile 2 Blu-ray Disc Player
Panasonic DMP-BD35EB-K Profile 2 Blu-ray Disc Player with BD Live br /I'm not a Blu-ray expert, but this machine offered good functionality at a good price. I don't know what other devices are like, but this one does take some time to load (as some of the reviews indicated), but it is not excessive and not too dissimilar to my DVD player. As for reports of noise when running, I haven't noticed anything. I have been happy with this device and would recommend it to others as good value for money.

good basic Blu-ray player
The Panasonic DMP-BD35 Blu-ray player is fine for my needs, which are simple ones - later I may want to be more adventurous, but not now. It has one significant drawback in that it is very slow at responding and reading before starting the disk. Once it starts it is fine although I notice that on some of my old DVDs it occasionally inserts a very brief (fraction of a second) pause at intervals during play. No idea why. Not a significant drawback for me.

Pany Blu
We struggled with a cheapo DVD player for too long before I decided to buy something worth watching. Chose the Panasonic because of the reputation and price, in the hope it would future proof us. Too early to say about future proofing but the quality of the picture and the ease of use makes me wonder why we didn't upgrade sooner (and that's only on good old DVD) br /The unit was very easy to set up and connection to the internet via Ethernet was straightforward. The menu is very intuitive and overall it looks and feels like a quality product - well impressed br /
