one out of 10 worked
I've got a GGW-H20L with YL05 firmware. It burned the first blu ray disk from the cake without any problems and I was delighted. However, the other 9 BDs on the cake were all neither readable nor writable. I've tried out different authoring programs under Windows and Linux but all failed to write on the these disks. I'll never buy these again. br /

Excellent value
I didn't have much luck with my first batch... but then updated the firmware on my LG drive. Since then, everything's worked fine. These are really good value blu-rays.

Seem good quality so far...
I have burnt two discs thus far with no problems. I examined each disc visually and the die seems to be in good order. Due to the other review I tried two firmwares with my LG GGW-H20L Drive br / br /Burn Details: br / br /GGW-H20L YL04 br /Nero 8 br /22,472 MB Data UDF br /4x speed selected. br /Burn Time: 00:55:20 br /6,931 KB/s br / br /GGW-H20L YL05 br /Nero 8 br /22,699 MB Data UDF br /4x speed selected. br /Burn Time: 00:55:24 br /6,992 KB/s br / br /Neither firmware hit 4x speed of 17,980KB/s. There is not a lot in it between the two Firmwares. br / br /Additional Comments: br / br /Drive: LG GGW-H20L YL05 br /Printer: Epson PhotoStylus 950 br /Software: Nero 8 br / br /I have now used seven of the ten discs from the first batch I have bought. All burned correctly and verified. Print quality of the surface is good too. There is a speed issue though as noted by another reviewer. The drive burns BD-R at 6x. The discs are rated at 4x. Nero 8 offers 2x or 4x burning rate. However a full disc of multiple data files (burnt as UDF data disc) only hit a maximum speed of 1.6x and stayed mostly at 1.5x. This means a burn time of approximately 55-60 minutes for a disc. br / br /I have bought a second set though as they are reliable. No costers.

Affordable Blu Ray disks
It's always difficult to know whether it's your hardware thats the problem or the disk, but I did have a couple of coasters out of my pack of 10, hence the four stars. br /On the whole I would recommend these disks as they are well produced and unlike all other BD brands are affordably priced.

Very good quality for your money
I just thought I'd provide some info for tech users. br /from atip: BD-R (Disc ID: RITEK-BR2-00) (Speeds: 2x; 4x) br /While verifying read speed was 3.0x avearge, 3.9 max. All went OK. br / br /If you have GGW-H20L, like myself, do not update the firmware to YL05! It will read and write with 1x (these blanks and generally poor performance even with bd-roms). Fortunately, I could downgrade to YL04 and everything is back to normal now. I'll contact LG, maybe they'll sort it out in the next firmware. br /
